Jeffrey Locke, Legislative Policy Analyst
Jeffrey
joined PAI Government Relations team in March of 2008, following over two years
in Togo, West Africa, where he worked as a community health worker in the Peace
Corps. While abroad, Jeffrey
coordinated several projects that promoted women’s rights, including a clean
water and sanitation project that was led by local village women, as well as
helped organize a young women’s leadership summer camp that promoted family
planning and HIV/AIDS prevention.
Prior to Peace Corps, Jeffrey has worked as a fellow with Senator Edward
M. Kennedy’s LHHS Committee, working on mental health parity and domestic Ryan
White HIV/AIDS reauthorization. He
has also spent time in former Member of British Parliament Barbara Roche’s
constituent office, and has worked as a government relations staff member for
Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State. Jeffrey graduated from SUNY Albany with
a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
