Kate Tibone, International Advocacy Associate

Kate Tibone joined PAI in May 2006.  Kate graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2004 with a B.A. in Political S cience and a minor in the Hesburgh Program in Public Service.   She first became involved in international issues while participating in the Northwestern Student Conference on Human Rights and through subsequent volunteering at Amnesty International’s Midwest Office located in Chicago, IL, as well as volunteering at Polaris Project in Washington D.C.   She previously worked as an AmeriCorps*VISTA at a non-profit organization, Children’s Hunger Alliance in Columbus, OH, working on domestic public policy issues promoting healthy nutrition and the benefits of national food programs in schools and with children.  She has also spent a semester studying abroad in London, England.
