Jacqueline Morby, PAI Board Chair
Jacqueline Morby, a private equity investor, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Population Action International (PAI). This comes at a critical juncture in PAI’s history as both board and staff engage in strategic planning to realign the organization's work. Morby is a long-time resident of Pittsburgh, PA.“Jacqui brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and wisdom to PAI. Her business acumen and background in investments as a private equity investor and in depth board experience will be especially critical as PAI moves aggressively to advance its collaborative work, research and advocacy in a rapidly changing field of population and reproductive health,” said Amy Coen, PAI’s President/ CEO. “We look forward to her leadership.” Jacqui Morby joined the PAI board in 2003 and will replace Jack Gibbons, who served as PAI’s Board Chair for three years. She is on the PAI Budget and Finance Committee and chairs the PAI Investment Sub-committee.
Morby sits on several corporate boards including: ANSYS Inc; Axioma Inc; J&B Software Inc; Softmed Inc; and Pacific Life Corp. In addition, Morby is a member of the Board of Trustees of Simmons College, the Warhol Museum and the Carnegie Museum.
