Caroline Behringer, Communications and Development Administrative Assistant

Caroline Behringer began working with PAI as an Intern during the summer of 2008, and then moved on to an Assistant/Coordinator position with Development and Communication in August 2008..  She is a recent graduate from American University in Washington, DC where she received her B.A. in International Studies and Spanish/Latin American Studies. She gained experience interning previously for the US Department of Agriculture and the Department of the Interior, as well as for the Middle East Institute. She is a current volunteer with the DC Rape Crisis Center, and has done extensive volunteer work abroad. Caroline is primarily interested in women’s issues, conflict resolution, and the environment. She plans to attend law school in the future in order to practice international human rights law.
