Suzanna Dennis, Research Associate

Suzanna Dennis joined PAI as a research associate in May, 2008. Her primary
focus is strengthening and revamping our long-time work on financing population
assistance and sexual and reproductive health services, including exploring
emerging issues such as aid effectiveness and their impact on funding
levels. Suzanna’s professional background is in tracking development
finance from a gender perspective, with a focus on multilateral banks such as
the World Bank. Prior to joining PAI, Suzanna was the Programs Coordinator
at Gender Action, where she researched and wrote six reports, including one
funded through a PAI subgrant examining the projects funded by the World Bank
and other multilateral development banks for reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.
Suzanna earned a master's degree in international affairs from the School of
International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in 2005. She also
holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa
Cruz.
